Jimmy Ray Wadkins, 74,  of New Hope, TN,  passed peacefully Friday, January 14, 2022.

Jimmy Ray was born on June 12, 1947 to the late Gertrude and Dee Wadkins.

Jimmy Ray was full of life and enjoyed it to the fullest.  He loved his family dearly and has left us way too soon.  Spending time with his family, riding his Harley, and fishing was what he loved the most. Jimmy Ray was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by his family and many friends forever.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Brown.

Jimmy Ray is survived by his wife, Charlcie Wadkins daughters; Tonya Wadkins, Cristal and Ragen Dykes;  son, Daniel Wadkins , five granddaughters and one great grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. (CST) in the chapel of Rogers Funeral Home of South Pittsburg officiating be Rodney McGill.

Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Hope, TN

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the funeral service at South Pittsburg.
