Jimmy Lee Wooten, age 66, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Jimmy was a loving and devoted person who will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He cherished the time he spent with those he loved and leaves behind many treasured memories.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. Wooten and Gracie Graham Wooten; two brothers, Dennis Wooten and Johnny Ray Wooten.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Amanda Henry; son, Johnny Matthews; brother, David (Angie) Wooten; sister, Sandra (Michael) Whited; several nieces, nephews; great nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will have a private memorial for Jimmy at a later date.
