Jody F. Rollins, 71, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

Jody dedicated 40 years of service to Marion County Gas and Water Works. He was also a proud and devoted member of the South Pittsburg Volunteer Fire Department, where he served as chief for many years. His commitment to his community and his willingness to serve others left a lasting impact on those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doc and Alice Rollins, and his brother, Charlie Rollins and nephew, Robert Rollins.

Jody is survived by his brother, Edmond (Teresa) Rollins; his sister, Karen (Randy) Moss; his brother, Bruce (Terri) Rollins; his sister-in-law, Gloria Armour; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. (CDT) in the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Michael Rollins officiating.

Jody will be laid to rest at Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, Tennessee.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (CDT) prior to the funeral service in the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Freddy Cook, Ricky Knoll, Connie Taylor, George Hampton, Tom Hampton, Bill Lawrence, Donald Blancett, and Keith Garth.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the South Pittsburg Volunteer Fire Department.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the South Pittsburg Volunteer Fire Department.

Jody will be remembered for his dedication, service, and the many lives he touched throughout his years.
