Dr. Joe B. Lasater, 86, of Whitwell, Tennessee died Saturday, January 19, 2019.

An United States Air Force veteran, he was retired from Erlanger Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Jennie Shoemake Lasater of Whitwell; niece, Mary Jo Alford-Roberson of Tampa, Florida; and several other relatives and friends.

The family will gather with friends at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Saturday, January 26 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. Central time.

A private burial will be held at a later time.
