Reverend John Smith Pastor of Gospel Light Baptist Church, loving father, husband, and grandfather, met his savior, maker, and redeemer on January 8th, 2021.  He was 64 years old on the day of his parting.  If we were to have asked him the most significant moments in his life, he would have said:

(1).   The moment Christ redeemed him was by far his greatest and most defining moment.

(2).  The years he spent with his mother, father, and siblings were very precious moments.

(3).  The day he met his beautiful bride was priceless; he loved her like a husband should.

(4).  He was immensely proud of his only child; he would have climbed ten mountains for him.

(5).  The days his grandkids came into the world brought great joy to his soul.

(6).  His church and the salvation of souls was his life's work.

Some of his last words were, "I am not ready to leave my grandkids; I want more time with them."  He said to his son, in a text, just one week ago, "Make sure I survive this."  At the time, we didn't know what he and God had in mind.  We know now that it was that his faithful service for Christ's kingdom live on after him.  Our father, husband, grandfather, pastor, and friend wouldn't want any obituary about him to not ask you, the reader, these questions:

(1).  Do you know the love of Christ?

(2).  Do you have a relationship with him?

Christ is pursuing you.  Don't let his life's work be in vain; accept him today!  Let him in!  Christ is FOR YOU!
