John Marvin Tate September 4, 1973 – March 5, 2022

John Marvin Tate, 48, of South Pittsburg, TN passed away peace fully in his sleep at home on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

He was employed by Domino's Pizza for many years.  John was well known all over the area.   He loved to hear the little kids say, "It's the pizza man"!  John loved children and they loved him.  He was known as the "big guy in the little truck".

He was a 1991 graduate of South Pittsburg High School and attended Chattanooga State.

He was a Christian and attended First Baptist Church of South Pittsburg. He had many friends and enjoyed spending time with all of them.

John was preceded in death by his father; Ronald M. Tate; grandparents, Noah and Geraldine Tate and P.E. and Lillian Freeman.

Survivors include his mother, Beverly J. Tate and sister, Sheri Tate as well as many aunts and cousins.

A celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. (CST) in the chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Lane officiating.

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. (CST) and on Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the funeral service at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, 400 Laurel Ave, South Pittsburg, TN.
