Johnnie Marlene Ziegler, 68, of Jasper, TN, passed away peacefully Monday, August 3rd, 2020.

She was the daughter of the late Homer and Betty Dawson.

Johnnie was a member of First Baptist Church of Jasper for many years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, was known for crocheting blankets for friends and family, and loved country music.

Johnnie is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James Larry Ziegler.

She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Martha (Ryan) Ziegler, of Jasper, TN, and her son, James Larry (Sarah) Ziegler, Jr., of Jasper, TN; her sisters, Linda Sartin and Nokie Warren, and brother, Dennis Dawson; her grandchildren, James, Thomas, and Isaac Carter, and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will follow family visitation at 2:30 pm CST on Thursday, August 6 ^th , 2020 at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens with Reverend Greg Steele officiating.

Pallbearers are Joey Blevins, Jonathan Blevins, Josh Blevins, Ryan Carter, Brandon May, and Larry Ziegler.
