Joseph Bentley Lamb, Jr., 83, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Joe was the son of the late Joe and Aileen Lamb. Following his service in the United States Navy, he embarked on a long and successful career in the entertainment industry. As a sound and lighting engineer in Las Vegas, Nevada, Joe worked on numerous television and movie productions and contributed to a variety of shows in some of the city's most renowned casinos.

After retiring, Joe returned to Tennessee and settled in Crossville, where he enjoyed a quieter pace of life and spent many happy hours on the golf course pursuing one of his favorite pastimes.

Joe will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, professional expertise, and the friendships he cultivated throughout his life.

He is survived by his sister, Claudia Walker of Atlanta, Georgia; his brother, Steve (Donna) Lamb; his cousin, Shelley Beene; his special friend, Billy Simpson; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. (CDT) in the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, 21 East Fifth Street, Jasper, TN.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. (CDT) at the funeral home prior to the Celebration of Life Service in the Jasper Chapel.
