Joyce Martin Hookey, 75, of South Pittsburg, TN went to be with the Lord, Sunday, February 12, 2006 in a Chattanooga Hospital. Mrs. Hookey was an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church in South Pittsburg and was retired from Tokheim Corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fannie and Edward Martin, and a sister, Marcella Hackney. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Paul Kenneth Hookey; her children, Lisa & Allen Bowman of Whitwell, Leslie & Doug Bell of Bridgeport, AL and Paul Thomas & Vicki Hookey of Jasper; thirteen grandchildren, Nicole & Stanley Hall of Kimball, Sean & Stephanie Pittman of Bryant, AL, Amy, Sherrie and Brent Bowman all of Whitwell, Haven and Brandon Bell both of Bridgeport, AL, Brittney and Bailey Hookey, Savannah and Katherine Graham all of Jasper, TN; four great-grandchildren, David & Jacob Sacks of Kimball, Jazmine Hall of Kimball and Kendell Mason of Trion, GA; one brother, Monte Martin of Michigan; a half-sister, Lou Coppinger of Cleveland, TN; and a niece, Elizabeth Ann Watkins of Smyrna, TN. Funeral services were conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 at 2:00 PM CST with Reverend Joe Moore officiating. Interment was in Gilliam Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, February 13, from 5-9 PM CST at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church Building Fund.
