Judith Evans King, 67, of South Pittsburg, died Sunday, June 16, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.
The daughter of the late Homer Dillard Evans and Velma Duke Evans Ramsey, she was a graduate of Bridgeport High School and a member of First Baptist Church, South Pittsburg. Judith never met a stranger and was known for her devotion to her family, especially for her daughter and granddaughter.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Don C. "Duck" King; son, Gregory Allen King; and sister, Alicia Marsh.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Marlene (Ronnie) Pittman, granddaughter, Allyxandra Pittman all of South Pittsburg, sister, Pat Mahaffey, step-father, Rocky Ramsey both of Chattanooga, TN, special dog, Chloe, several nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2pm Central time on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, June 18th from 5-8 pm Central time at the funeral home.
