Junior Ramsey, 59, of Jasper, TN died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in a local hospital.

The son of the late Joe & Maudie Griffith Ramsey, he worked for 38 years with Marion Natural Gas.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bob and Earl Ramsey and sister, Imogene Kilgore.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Hatfield Ramsey, of Jasper, TN; children, Clarissa Barton, of Sequatchie, Tennessee, Kristy Ramsey, of Jasper, and Renea (Ashley) Upton, of Bridgeport, Alabama; grandchildren, Jace Barton, Dakota Upton, Alec Barton, Madalyn Upton, Mason Upton, and Makayla Upton; sister, Ollie Mae (Raymond) Sisco, of South Pittsburg; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Central time on Saturday, June 30, 2018, with Rev. Darrell Nunley, officiating. Interment will be in Cumberland View Cemetery in Kimball, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Friday, June 29th, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Central time.
