Katherine Denise Griffith, 64, born May 3, 1959, recently passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024.  Known to family and friends as Kat or Kathy. She was a gentle caring soul that never met a stranger.  To know Kat was to love her.  Kat was such a loving wife of 34 years, aunt, and surrogate mom to so many.

Katherine was preceded in death by her father, Hoyt Griffith and mother, Tommie Lou Wooten Griffith.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Moreland, sister, Kimberly Griffith, brother, Micheal (Bull) Griffith, sister-in-law, Brenda Griffith, nephews, Micheal Griffith II (J. Fred), Micheal Allen Griffith, Tanner, Tucker and Trey Burger and Skip Bradford, nieces, Stacy Webb Smith, Stephanie Webb, Angie Matthews, and Becki Bradford.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 2, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. (CST) at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper, TN with Reverend Rhonda McGowan officiating.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the funeral service in the chapel.
