Kathryn Irene Henley Mayfield, 85, of Arab, Alabama, formerly of South Pittsburg, Tennessee died Thursday, May 6, 2010 in a Huntsville Hospital.
The daughter of the late James Church "Coot" and Beatrice Adams Henley, she was a US Navy veteran of World War II. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond I. Mayfield; son, James Dale Mayfield and grandson, Michael Raymond Mayfield.
She is survived by her children, Michael Roger Mayfield and Judy M. Fleming both of Arab, Alabama; Raymond Dennis Mayfield of Hixson, Tennessee; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Sunday, May 9, 2010 at 4 PM CDT. Interment will be in Gilliam Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 5-7 PM CDT at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
