Katie Lois Coffelt Case, 72, of Bridgeport, AL died Sunday, December 29, 2013. She was the daughter of the late John Clarence Coffelt and Sallie McCanless Coffelt. She was a sales clerk at Tot & Teen children's shoppe for 21 years, was of the Baptist faith, and worked as a caregiver for several years. She loved flowers, loved to cook and feed her friends and neighbors and thought of others first. She was preceded in death by sisters, Trilby Dunn and Shirley Robbins and brother, John Wayne Coffelt and a grandson, Brandon Bennett.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ernest Melvin Case, of Bridgeport, Al; her children, Donna (Raymond) Bennett, of Jasper, TN and Allan (Cheryl) Case of Kimball, TN; grandchildren, Brian, Kevin and Jared Bennett; several brothers and sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 31st from 6-9 PM Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM Central time with Rev. Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will be in Bonaventure Cemetery in Bridgeport, AL.
