Kay Griffith, 65, a native of South Pittsburg, TN, died Wednesday, December 11, 2019 after a brief illness.

The daughter of the late John E. and Wilma Gilliam Griffith, Kay was a 1972 graduate of South Pittsburg High School, a member of Holly Avenue United Methodist Church, an accomplished pianist and a dentist.

She is survived by a brother, John C. Griffith of Lynchburg, VA; a niece, Laura Griffith Miller of Lynchburg, three nephews, John Joseph Griffith of Fredericksburg, VA; David Andrew Griffith of Lynchburg; and Brian Adam Griffith of Norfolk, VA; and numerous cousins.

The family will receive friends at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg, TN on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, from Noon until time of the service at 2:00pm CDT.
