Kenneth Barry Jacobs, 68 of Jasper Tennessee passed away Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2020.

He was a proud Veteran of Foreign War who served honorably in the United States Air Force and retired in the rank of Technical Sergeant.  As a result of his diligence TSgt Jacobs earned a variety of medals to include Joint Service Commendation medal,  Air Force Commendation medal with two oak leaf clusters, Distinguished Presidential Unit Citation, Air Force Outstanding Unit award ribbon,  Air Force Good Conduct medal with four oak leaf clusters, National Defense Service medal with bronze service star, Southwest Asia Service medal with two palms, Humanitarian Service medal, Air Force Overseas Short Tour ribbon, and Air Force Longevity Service and ribbon with four oak leave clusters.  Additionally, TSgt Jacobs proudly served in support of Operation Desert Storm.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife Rebecca Louise Jacobs, happily married since 1979.

Preceded in death by father and role model Clyde Eldridge Jacobs of Sewanee TN.

Survived by his devoted and dear mother Evelyn Ann Jacobs of Sewanee TN.  He will forever be remembered by his sons and daughters: son Kenneth Allen Jacobs and his wife Chrissy Dee Jacobs,  daughter Billie Evelyn Jacobs, son Jerry Kevin Jacobs, son Thomas Richard Jacobs and his wife Erin Linette Jacobs, daughter Kimberly Diane Holen and her husband Austin Daniel Holen.  Kenneth cherished his grandchildren Colton Ryan Jacobs, Jori Michelle Jacobs, Bianca Ebonique Jacobs, De'Andre Charles Hill, Brionna Le'Rae Cleveland and husband Wesley Cleveland, Emma Brynn Jacobs, Audrey Jordan Jacobs, Kimberly Rebecca Jacobs and Kaitlin Florence Holen.  He is also survived by two great granddaughters he held close in his heart: Raegan Marie Jackson and Aubrionna Noelle Cleveland.  Kenny is survived by his proud and loyal brothers all in Sewanee TN: Jerry Randall Jacobs and wife Carlette Jacobs, Dennis Ray Jacobs and wife Janet Jacobs, Thomas David Jacobs and his partner Gloria Jean Landen.  Survived by nieces and nephews: Jim Jacobs and wife Becky Jacobs and his children Dennis Jacobs, Carla Green and her husband Josh Green along with their children Carmen Green and Josie Green, and Eliza Jacobs; Tim Jacobs and Sally Green; Samuel Jacobs and wife Renee Jacobs; Raelessa Porter and husband Joey Porter and their kids Madison Porter, Evan Porter, and Quinn Porter.  Survived by his aunts and uncles: uncle James Barry and wife Judith Barry, aunt Patricia Shetters and husband Martin Shetters.  Lastly he is survived by his cousins: cousin Danny Barry and wife Arlene Barry and their kids Ryan Barry and his wife Lydia Barry, Evan Barry, and Hannah Barry and cousin Brenda Patton Chavis and her children Cheryl Hodge and Mike Hodge.

Kenneth Barry Jacobs loved his wife Rebecca Louise Jacobs and all his children and grandchildren with a passion.  There was nowhere he'd rather be than with his wife and family.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donation be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Shriners Hospital for Children.  These two charity organizations he held dear to his heart.

The family will have a private Memorial Service.
