Kevin Rainey

Kevin Samuel Rainey, 36 years old, passed away unexpectedly at his Jasper home on Friday, March 23, 2018.

Kevin graduated from RHMS, class of 2000. Following graduation he worked in the hotel industry, dedicating himself to customer service. He was a lover of all animals and a good friend to all he encountered. He will be greatly missed by all.

Kevin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Samuel Hicks; and paternal grandparents, Ray Rainey and Kathleen Kisor.

Survivors include his nanny, Anne Hicks; mother and step-father, Phyllis and Johnny VanAllman; father and step-mother, Clarence and Mary Ann Rainey; sister, Summer (David) Shaffer; step-brothers, Chris VanAllman, Daniel (Stephanie) VanAllman; nephews, Christopher Rainey and Austin VanAllman; very special aunt, Virginia (Mike) Hicks; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service to commemorate his life will be conducted at 5:00 pm, CDT, Sunday, March 25, 2018, at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
