Larry Randall Parker, 77, of Jasper, TN passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 after a brief illness.

Larry was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and a wonderful friend to many.  He was of the Baptist faith and a regular attendee at Jasper First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ray Parker and Clara Parker; brothers, Bill and E. L. (Preacher) Parker.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Peggy Parker; sons, Randall Parker, Ricky (Lynn) Parker and Rusty Parker;  two sisters, Jeanette Lambert and Wanda Owens as well as  several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. (CST) in the Jasper chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Steel and John Young officiating.

Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. (CST) and on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the chapel service at Rogers Funeral Home, Japer, TN

Pallbearers will be Andrew Parker, Warren Wray Quarles, Jimmy Quarles, Dale Quarles, Darwin Lambert, Wendall Lambert, and James Cooper.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to St. Jude Hospital and the Jasper First Baptist Church Building Fund.
