Laura Jean Martin Stewart, 59, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee died Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at her home.

A former employee of Hampton Trucking and Valmont, she was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her father, Dave Martin and three sons, William Stewart, Benjamin Stewart, and Tyler Stewart.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, James "Bug" Stewart; sons, Chris (Amber) Martin and Brian Stewart; grandchildren, Justin Martin and Courtney Martin; mother, Dorothy Martin; sister, Kathy Martin (David) Smith; brother, David (Lisa) Martin; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Central time on Friday, May 31, 2019 with Rev. Jason Ollis and Brother David Gudger officiating. Interment will follow at Gilliam Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Central time and on Friday from 12 Noon until service time.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
