Lillie Mae Collins-Morgan, 89, of Jasper, TN, died Friday, October 24, 2008 in a local hospital. She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Nora Newsom Dykes and was preceded in death by her husbands, Charlie Collins and Hobston Morgan; grandson, Gary Collins; son-in-law, Jack Haley; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Collins and great-grandson, Todd Holt.
She is survived by five daughters, Shirley (Jerry) Colston and Carolyn (Bart) Hood, both of Jasper; Dorothy Haley of Signal Mountain; Lillian (Buck) Long of Hixson; Kate (Larry) Sellers of Whitwell; son, Charles Collins of Jasper; two step-daughters, Tina Biedenbender of Sugarland, TX; Joyce Medlin of Easley, SC; step-son, Harold Morgan of Easley, SC; sisters, Callielea Daffron of Wilmer, TX; Kitty Strickler of Johnson City, TN; 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and two special friends, Louin and Martha Campbell.
Funeral and visitation services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Monday, October 27th at 1:00 PM CDT with Dr. Larry Sellers and Revs. Steve Sellers and Roger Webb officiating. Interment will be in Glover's Hill cemetery in Kimball immediately following the service. Visitation will be Sunday, October 26th, from 1-9 PM CDT.
