Linda Body, 66, of South Pittsburg, TN died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Wade and Bessie Crider Harden and was also preceded in death by her brother, Danny Harden.
A member of the First Baptist Church in South Pittsburg, she was active in the Bread of Life Meal Ministry, the National Cornbread Festival fundraisers and with the volunteer missions at the church, having served in Mexico and Appalachia. She was active with Meals on Wheels and was a former active member of Boynton Baptist Church in Ringgold, GA.
Mrs. Body is survived by her loving husband, Jerry, her children, Renee Sims of Ringgold, GA, Kim Honeycutt of Rossville, GA and Jeffrey Mark Honeycutt of Atlanta; grandson (Linda's pride and joy), Hunter Sims who is a student at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, AL; several nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg on Friday, November 14th from 5-8 PM Central time.
Funeral services will be conducted from First Baptist Church in South Pittsburg on Saturday, November 15th at 2pm Central time.
The interment will be on Sunday, November 16th in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Attalla, AL at 2 PM Central time.
