Linda Ruth Renfro

September 9, 1944 – January 3, 2026

Ooltewah, Tennessee

Linda Ruth Renfro, 81, of Ooltewah, TN, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

Linda was a remarkable woman of deep faith who lived her life with Jesus at the helm. Her love for the Lord guided her actions, her kindness, and the way she cared so deeply for her family.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, John and Ethel (DeHart) Craze; her niece, Kristin Domer; and her loving grandparents, aunts, and uncles who welcomed her home.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Bill Renfro, whom she adored and cherished. She also leaves behind her daughter, Julie Long, her miracle baby; Julie's husband, Casey Long; and her precious granddaughter, Lynley Long, her "Sweetie Pie"; brother, John (Jo Ellen) Craze; sisters, Tammy (Tim) Langley and Mitzi (Jimbo) Shadrick;  brother-in-law, Dewayne (Laura) LeCroy, nephews, Greg, Jonathan and Chris; nieces, Hollie and Betsy; great-niece, Layla.

Linda often said her greatest blessing in life was her family. While she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, we find comfort in knowing she is now celebrating eternally with those who went before her.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) at Chattanooga National Cemetery, 1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404 with Pastor Richard DeHart officiating.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time) and 4:00 to 6:00 (Central Standard Time) at Rogers Funeral Home, 400 Laurel Ave, South Pittsburg, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be Casey Long, Tim Langley, Jonathan Langley, Jimbo Shadrick, Chris Stoner and Tim Jackson.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.
