Elizabeth Ann Pittman, 70, of New Hope, Tennessee passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 after an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anderson and Grace Allen; husband, Dan Pittman, Jr.; sister, Margie Stewart; brothers, James Allen and John Stewart; grandson, Noah B. Pittman and nephew, Scott Allen.
She was a retiree from Cigna after 28 years of service and an active member of Holly Avenue United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children, Paul and Donna Pittman, Mitzi and Don Payne and Kim Cannon; two grandchildren, Tyler and Megan Payne; one great-grandson, Blaine Pittman and several nieces and nephews. She was also blessed with four sisters; Annabelle Crownover, Linda Willis, Janie Kirkpatrick and Jean Stewart and one brother, Charles "Goodboy" Allen.
A celebration of her life will be held at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg on Friday, November 12 at 2pm Central Time with Brother Bill Lassiter officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland View Cemetery with nephews serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg from 4-8pm Central Time on Wednesday, November 10; 4-8pm Central Time on Thursday, November 11, and from 10am until service time on Friday, November 12.
