Mrs. Lorene Rankin Grimes, 79, of Whiteside, TN died Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in a local nursing home.
The daughter of the late Milton and Maudie Hicks Rankin, she was a member of the Whiteside Church of God and a lifetime resident of the Whiteside community. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Grimes.
She is survived by her daughter, Annie Bernice Bolton of Jasper; granddaughters, Christina Mae Gomez, of Red Bank and Angela Lee Bolton of Jasper; sister-in-law, Louise Grimes, of Whiteside; brothers, William Rankin of Guild; Eugene Bailey and Freddy Bailey both of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, Saturday, March 8, 2008, at 1:00 PM CST, with Rev. Luke Williams officiating. Interment will be in Hooker Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 7, from 4-8 PM, CST at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper.
