Lottie Janet Elkins, age 86 of Jasper passed away in the early morning hours of September 9, 2016 at the home of her son and granddaughter in Sevierville, TN after an extended illness.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Elkins; son, David McBrayer; parents, Odie & Dolly Chapman; brothers, JL, Clarence, & Gene Chapman; and sister, Dorothy Chapman.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Foster; son, Roger McBrayer; grandchildren, David Schenck (Morgan), Monica Westmoreland (Tim), Emily McBrayer (Eric), Sarah McBrayer, Philip McBrayer (Ana), Rebecca Hattershide (Michael); and eight great-grandchildren.

Her big heart, sweet disposition, and generous spirit will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm - 4:30pm on Sunday, September 11 at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper. Graveside service to follow at Boydston Cemetery in Lookout Valley (Tiftonia).
