Louise Stuart Philmon, 97, formerly of East Ridge, TN died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the home of her nephew in Chantilly, VA.
Born in Richard City, TN on January 31, 1914 to the late Albert Brance and Emma Elizabeth Peacock Stuart, she was a graduate of South Pittsburg High School and lived for many years on South Moore Road in East Ridge. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Philmon, (Lt.Col., USAR, Ret.); brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Mary Vance Wallace Stuart.
She is survived by her brother, William B. Stuart and his wife, Alicia of Richard City, TN and their daughter, Barbara S. (Mike) Blansett; nephew, Wally Stuart and wife Peggy, of Chantilly, VA and their children, Ray (Dawn Wiener) Stuart and Laura Wallace Stuart (USMC Lt. Col. Gary R.) Reidenbach.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at Cumberland View Cemetery on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 1pm Central time with Bill Stuart officiating.
