Martha Louise Hargis Teas, 70, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015, after a brief illness. The daughter of the late Robert Columbus "Lum" and Alice Harris Hargis, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who always thought of others before herself. She was a retired loan officer of TVA Credit Union and was Past President of the Chattanooga Business Women's Association. She love to garden and cook for her husband of 52 wonderful years and for her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas E. Teas, of South Pittsburg; sons, Thomas E. (Rachel)Teas, Jr., of Signal Mtn., Michael Jeffery (Sherry) Teas, of Chattanooga; three sisters, Kate Payne, Frances Walker and Faye Haskew; five brothers, Bob, Gene, Stanley, Jim Hargis and Tim Harris, all of South Pittsburg; 2 grandchildren, Paul Norman Teas and Addison Faith Teas, and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Saturday, January 10th, from 3-5pm Central time at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg followed by a Celebration of Life service at 5:00pm.
