Lucy Stephens Davenport, 70, of Dunlap, TN died Monday, February 4, 2013.
The daughter of the late Raymond and Elise Barton Stephens, she was a former employee of Pittsburg Knitting Mill. She was a CNN News "junkie" and a proud supporter of President Obama.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Kenneth, Sonny and Billy Stephens and sisters, Pet Cox, Laura Stephens, Peggy Wileman, Kathy Chambers, Mary Stephens and Martha Stephens.
She is survived by her children, Teresa (Jimmy) Calloway of Jasper, TN, Tina (Hank) Plain of Dunlap, TN, Danny (Lisa Rollins) Davenport, Tracie Jones both of South Pittsburg and Brice (Tara) Davenport, Jr. of Tomball, TX; sisters, Ann Masters of Albertville, AL, Louise Rogers, Kitty Graham both of Trenton, GA; brother, Tony Stephens of Trenton; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 1pm Central on Friday, February 8, 2013 with Rev. Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 7th from 5-8pm Central at the funeral home.
