Lucy Louise Greer, 91, of the Battlecreek community, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 16, 2021, with her loving family by  her side.  Lucy was the daughter of John Clyde and Annie Gaines.

She was preceded in death by her parents,  and one son Jerry Hale, two brothers; Sherman Alexander and Fred Thurman Gaines.

Lucy leaves to cherish her memory,  one son, William (Billy) Davis (Maria), one daughter, Dorothy Robinson, two grandchildren, Celeste Davis and Michael Hale.  Also, three great-grandchildren, two nieces,  Komma Demery,  Goldie Gaines,  one nephew Sherman Lebron Dennis and a host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. (CST) in the  chapel of Rogers Funeral Home of South Pittsburg, TN. with Pastor Green officiating.

Visitation will be held 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. (CST) prior to the chapel service.

Interment will follow at Gaines Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Ronald Mitchell, Keith Garth, Anthony Walker, Eddie Moore, Sherman Lebron Gaines, and Jarvis Wooten.
