Luther Grant Smith, Jr., 63, of Foster Falls Community passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 4, 2009.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Grant, Sr. and Martha R. Smith and his sister Louise Smith Graves.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Brown Smith of Jasper, daughter Donna (Moe) Galbraith and grandson Grant Galbraith of Signal Mountain. Nieces Martha Ann and April Quay of Dunlap and Sandra (Josh) Arnold of Chattanooga.
Visitation will be at 4 to 6 p.m. CST, Saturday, February 7th at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper, Tennessee. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
We would like to give a special thanks to the physicians, especially Dr. Philip Smith, and the nurses on 8 North at Erlanger Hospital for their never-ending physical and spiritual care.
