Lydia Faith Brannon (or Skittles, Vea, Vivia, Bina, or Ashton) passed away very suddenly and tragically on April 3, 2026, at her family’s home.
The daughter of William (Bill) and Emily Brannon, Born in Shelby, North Carolina on February 5, 2009. She attended Richard Hardy Memorial School for several years, before eventually making the decision to home school. She graduated high school from Penn Foster on March 6, 2026, at only 17 years old. She was due to start college at WGU in May of 2026. She was employed at Sonic in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. Lydia and her family attended Battle Creek Baptist Church in South Pittsburg, Tennessee.
She enjoyed Pokémon cards, cosplay, renaissance fairs, puzzles, sewing, art, arcades, and video games. She was a major daddy’s girl. She loved doing crafts and drawing with her nieces and nephew. She was teaching her oldest niece (Ryleigh) to sew. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her loving heart, beautiful soul, and her giving personality.
She is survived by her Parents, Bill and Emily Brannon. Her Grandmother, Carol Duda. Her Siblings, Jared, Tyler, Christin, Micah, Josiah (Kalie) , Jonathan, Arianna (Jeremiah), and Charity. As well as her nieces and nephew, Ryleigh, Kymberlynn, Evaleigh, and Landynn. Also, many many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members. She was predeceased by her Grandparents, Billie Joe and Beaulah Brannon, and David Duda, as well as other uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) in the South Pittsburg Funeral Home, 400 Laurel Ave, South Pittsburg, TN 37380 (423) 837-7176.
Interment will follow the service at Pine Grove Cemetery in Jasper, Tennessee.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (CDT) prior to the funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. (CDT) with Pastor Jeff Nelson officiating.
Pallbearers are Micah Brannon, Josiah Brannon, Jonathan Brannon, Jeremiah Brawley, Matt Brannon and Jared Brannon.
