Lynda “Lynn” Lewis

Lynn Lewis met her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, March 31, 2026, after an eight-month battle with cancer. She fought a good fight and now she has received her reward.

Lynn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her biggest joy was spending time with her granddaughters as well as her precious cats that were her constant companions.

She was a member of the Jasper Chapter #124 order of the Eastern Star and a member of Caperton’s Chapel Baptist Church, Flat Rock, Al.

Lynn was preceded in death by her father, Charles Terry, her mother, Charlotte Hickman, and one brother, Jeff Terry, grandmother, Carrie Winters.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, James R. Lewis Sr., three sons: James Ray Lewis Jr., Michael Lewis of Jasper, TN, Blake Lewis (Lexie) of South Pittsburg. Her granddaughters, Avrianna Lewis, Jasper, TN, Faith Lewis, South Pittsburg, Kara and Kaylee Lewis, Kansas City, MO., her brother, Kenneth Terry, her much loved mother - in – law, Diane Brackett, Jasper, TN., brother, Hobart (Sonny) Hickman.

It was Lynn’s request that we have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
