Mrs. Maggie Ruth Durham Blevins, 88 of Kimball, TN died, Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
The daughter of the late Robert Vinson and Sarah Ellen Beene Durham, she was a lifelong resident of Marion County and was a member of Kimball Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Blevins, daughter-in-law, Louise Blevins, son-in-law, Vernon T. Smith, one brother, and three sisters.
She is survived by her children, Carl (Pat) Blevins, Kenneth (Pat) Blevins, Austin (Judy) Blevins all of Jasper, Tennessee, Mildred (Lexie) Tyler of Chattanooga, Mary Dell of Signal Mountain, TN and Bobby (Sheila) Blevins of Kimball; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; brother, Horace Durham of Jasper; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, May 15, at 2:00 PM CST with Bro. David Hoschar officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 14, from 4-9 PM CDT at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
