Maggie Allison Martin, 96, of South Pittsburg, TN died Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in a local nursing home.


The daughter of the late Byrd and Delia Wilson Allison, she was a former cook at Harvey's Pirate Drive-In in South Pittsburg. She was a member of the Church of Christ in South Pittsburg and loved her family.


She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest D. Martin; son, Dennis E. Martin; and twelve siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean (Charles) Grider of Chattanooga, TN; son, Bobby (Shirley) Martin of DeLand, FL; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and special niece, Dale Allison Simpson of South Pittsburg, TN.


Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 12 Noon Central time on Saturday, March 14, 2015. Interment will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, TN.


The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 10 am Central until service time at the funeral home.
