Margaret Boyd Frye, 83, of Jasper, TN died Wednesday, April 13, 2016 in a local nursing home.

The daughter of the late William Austin Marion Boyd and Viola Margaret Lanham Boyd, she was of the Baptist Faith and worked as a secretary at Jerry's Chevrolet in Leesburg, Virginia for many years. Although she had no children of her own, she raised several of her other family members and they counted her as a second mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Frank Aubrey Frye; siblings, Doris Sixma, Mildred Cingel, William Austin Boyd, Jr., Robert Samuel Boyd and Jesse Lee Moore; and special nephew, Delbert Sixma.

She is survived by her sister, Barbara Close and special niece, Diana Bartram both of Jasper; several other nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet, "Susie Q."

A memorial service will be held in Leesburg, Virginia at a later date.
