Mrs. Margaret Reynolds Choate, 81, of New Hope, died Monday, November 26, 2007 in a local hospital.The daughter of the late Meredith P. and Annie Kennemore Reynolds, she was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxillary of the VFW. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Choate.She is survived by her son, Thomas "Nicky" Choate of South Pittsburg; three grandchildren, Thomas Anthony Choate of South Pittsburg, Crystal Duanna Cooper and James Steven Naylor both of Jasper; great-grandchildren, Connor, Cadin and Destiny; sisters, Elizabeth Stephens of Sewanee, TN, Violet Gass and Lillian Dodd both of Chattanooga; brothers, Hershel Reynolds of South Pittsburg and Dean Reynolds of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, November 29, 2007 at 2 PM CST with Reverends Wayne Winters and Joe Smith. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 28 from 5-9 PM CST at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.Pallbearers will be Jimmy Blevins, Ronnie Blevins, Tim Reynolds, Eric Reynolds, John Griffith, Jerry Don Kennemore and Earl Howard.
