Margaret Elaine McCreary, 69, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, passed away July 24, 2020 with her husband and daughter by her side.
She was born to the late James and Margaret Jo Holloway on August 19, 1950, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She married Rodney Wayne McCreary in 1975.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Margaret Jo Holloway, brother, James Larry Holloway and sister, Julie Padgett.
Elaine was a beloved wife, kick ass mom, the coolest grandma, and the bestest friend to everyone she met. She never met a stranger and loved to talk. She had a love for flowers and making everything around her beautiful. She loved animals, especially dogs. she rescued many. Elaine loved the ocean and going to see the fall colors of the Smokey Mountains. One of her greatest passions was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandson, Lennox. He was the apple of her eye. They enjoyed coloring and picking at each other. She loved music, especially George Thorogood and Johnny Cash. She had a heart of gold and she is now walking the golden streets of Heaven.

She is survived by her husband Rodney, her daughter, Larramie (Bear) Pace of Jasper, Tennessee, her grandson, Lennox Pace, her sisters, Anna Lou (Jerry) Merciers of Whitwell, Tennessee. Virginia (Fuzzy) Missman, Jamey (Chris) Weare, and brother, Jerry (Alice) Holloway of Texas, Several nieces & nephews, cousins and several special friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. at Rogers Funeral Home Chapel in South Pittsburg with Pastor, Joe Moore officiating.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home.
