Marguarite "Bootsie" Woodfin Berryhill, 97, beloved mother and "Gran-Gran", died Thursday at an Oregon nursing home with her family at her side.The daughter of the late Oliver and Rosa Castle Woodfin, she was the 6th of eight children. She was raised in the Methodist church and her faith was strong. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Ernest "Ernie" Berryhill who died in 1977, two daughters, Louise and Katherine, five sisters and one brother.She is survived by a son, Raymond (Joy) Berryhill of Baker City, OR, two grandchildren, Jill Johnson and Brock (Jenny) Berryhill, two great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Quinton Johnson, one brother, Clark Woodfin, and a family friend, Frances Carson.Funeral services will be held at the Jasper Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 11:00am CDT, with Rev. Roger Webb officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery beside her husband and daughter.The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
