Marie McBee Murray, 77, of South Pittsburg, TN died Thursday, November 19, 2015 in a Chattanooga hospital.


The daughter of the late Jess Herbert and Lena Cordelia Spence McBee, she was a former clerk at Goodwill Industries and attended the Kimball Tabernacle of Praise. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Murray, son, Dallas Gene Murray, infant brothers, George Eugene and Ronny Leon McBee, and sisters, Lola Kilgore and Virginia Rector.


She is survived by her son, Billy Don (Catherine) Murray of East Ridge, TN; grandchildren, Anna Murray (Carl Lehr) VanRiper of South Pittsburg, Angela Walker and Joseph Greene both of East Ridge, TN; great-grandchildren, Stephen Fagin, Kenzie Moyer, Clay Moyer, Austin Fish and Sophie Lehr; brothers, Frank (Betty) McBee of Emmett, Idaho, Alvin (Jennie) McBee and Steve (Peggy) McBee of South Pittsburg; several nieces and nephews.


Funeral services will be conducted from the Kimball Tabernacle of Praise at 2pm on Sunday, November 22, 2015 with Brother David Gudger and Brother Darrell Nunley officiating. Interment will follow at Tate Cemetery in the Battle Creek Community.


The family will receive friends for visitation from 5-8pm on Saturday, November 21st at the Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
