Marion Talley Ridley, 77, of Jasper, died Monday, February 5, 2007, in a local hospital. He was the son of the late Marion Lester and Mary Margaret Cox Ridley. He was a former DuPont employee and he and his wife, Jo, were owners and operators of Ridley's Restaurant for 35 years. Mr. Ridley was a 50 year member of Olive Branch Lodge #297, Chattanooga Scottish Rite Bodies, York Rite and Consistory, and Alhambra Shrine Temple, and a member of Jasper First Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ridley, daughter, Marion Janice Ridley and grandson, Daniel Lamar Ridley. He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Ridley, Chattanooga; sons, Talley Gene (Janet) Ridley, Jasper, Johnny Lamar Ridley, Chattanooga, Gregg (Becky) Ridley, Pikeville, Bobby Ridley, Eureka, MO; grandchildren: Terrie Rose Linderman, Dr. Jennifer Headrick, Shannon Marie Ridley, Jessica Ridley, Will Ridley, Jeff Ridley, Matt Ridley, Jamiee Ridley, Dustin Ridley, Ryan Ridley, and Casey Ridley; two brothers, Ross and Bill Joe Ridley, Jasper; sister, Betty Ann Neeley, Somerset, KY; several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted from the Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home, in Jasper, Friday, February 9, 2007, at 11:00 A.M., CST, with Rev. Jim Whitaker officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Jasper. The family will receive friends Thursday, from 4 until 7 P.M., CST, at Rogers Funeral Home in Jasper. There will be a Masonic service at 6:30 P.M. Thursday evening. Memorial contributions may be sent to Olive Branch Masonic Lodge #297 Building Fund or to Jasper First Baptist Church Choir.
