Mark Eugene Parker, 49, of Jasper TN, passed away in Chattanooga, TN on October 23, 2021 after an extended illness.

He was born September 6, 1972, in Thomasville, GA To Rev. James (Gene) and Frances (Shadrick) Parker.

He spent most of his life in Indiana.  He worked many years in the trucking industry.  Mark loved the outdoors, traveling to different places, and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by one daughter, Lauren Parker of Indianapolis, IN.  Also, surviving are his parents, Dr. James (Gene) Parker and Frances Shadrick Parker; one brother, Stephen Parker of Griffin, GA; two sisters, Deborah Parker of Ft. Myers, FL and Beth (Mark) Sheller of Noblesville, IN; and a large number of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. (CST) at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Jasper, TN.

Prior to the funeral, a viewing will be from 1:00p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (CST) at the church. Rev. Steve Middleton and Dr. Gene Parker will be officiating the funeral service.

Mark will be laid to rest following the funeral at Sardis Cemetery in Victoria, TN.
