Marshall (Skip) Edward Pilgrim, 65, of Jasper, TN went to his heavenly home after losing his battle with cancer on Thursday, February 4, 2021 with his loving wife Marilyn Pilgrim of 35 years and daughter Heather Hood by his side.

Skip enjoyed spending time with his family especially his two grandchildren, fishing, telling jokes and a good game of checkers.

He was also a truck driver for many years.   He made many friends along the way, as he never met a stranger. He was member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Stevenson Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Betty Pilgrim; brother, Bobby Pilgrim; sister, Robin Pilgrim and many uncles, aunts and friends.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years Marilyn Pilgrim; daughter, Heather Hood; grandchildren, Brandon and Bailey Hood; his cat Loudmouth and grand dog, Twix, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Hearth Hospice and Paige Scott for their assistance during his final days.

Service will be held on Monday February 8th at 2pm (CST) Rogers Funeral Home, Jasper Chapel.

Visitation will be held on Monday February 8th from 12pm to 2pm (CST) prior to the Service at Jasper Chapel Rogers Funeral Home.
