Obituary

Marvin Lebron Laster, 47, of South Pittsburg, TN went home to be with his Lord Thursday, December 25, 2008.
He graduated from South Pittsburg High School, where he played football and was a member of the band. Marvin attended the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. He was employed with Beaulieu Carpets until his disability. Marvin was a member of Mt. Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved Pirates Football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Annie Laster and three brothers, Charles, Issac and Hugh Laster, Jr.
Marvin is survived by love of his life, Lisa Skyles; son, Emmanuel Laster; daughter, China Laster; all of South Pittsburg; sister, Delores (William) Crews of Chattanooga; brother, Mitchell Laster of South Pittsburg; sister-in-law, Yvonne Laster of Chattanooga; nieces, Aurelia Crews of Miami Beach, Florida, Anne Marie (Billy) Crews, Jasmine Laster of Nashville,TN and Haley Laster of Chattanooga; extended Laster family of Chattanooga and Dayton, OH; Beene, Richardson and Venson families of Chattanooga and Nashville; Cole family of Wildwood; Smith Family of Chattanooga; Reynolds family of Whitwell and Skyles family of South Pittsburg.
His wit, generosity and meek spirit will be missed by his friends and family.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30 PM Central on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home.
