Mary Virginia Boyd Lyons, 92, of Tampa, Florida, died Saturday, May 12, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Reece Boyd & Bessie Creola Brown Boyd Smith, her brothers, Clyde Boyd, Paul Boyd, and Vernon Boyd, and sisters, Doris Hardaway, Iva Lee Stewart, and Mildred Crouch. She was a member of the Church of Christ and worked for several years with her brother, Clyde, at the Jasper Dairy Bar. She loved gardening, birds, and riding through the neighborhood on her scooter.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rick & Deborah Lyons; daughter, Marie Evans; granddaughters, Bridgett Van VelHeisen and Brittney Lyons; great-granddaughter, Emma Vandagriff; sister, Faye Lofty; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Kimball Church of Christ on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Central time with Billy Watkins officiating. Interment will follow at Cumberland View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, May 18th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Central time at Rogers Funeral Home, Jasper, Tennessee.
