Mary Nell "Tootie" Grimes joined her heavenly family on May 22, 2020.  She was born September 15, 1940 and lived her entire life in Jasper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie Lee & Will Grimes, her sister, Betty Oglesby and brother, Charles Grimes.

Mary Nell loved Marion County football and Tennessee football.  She was devoted to her family and cherished her many dear friends.

She is survived by her brother,  Johnny (June) Grimes,  her sister-in-law,  Charlotte Grimes, her beloved grandnephew, Will King, as well as several nieces, nephews and great nephews and great nieces.

A public visitation will be held at Rogers Funeral Home,  Jasper, Tennessee,  Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

If so desired a remembrance might  be made to the Marion County Food Bank, P. O. 681, Sequatchie, TN 37374.

The family thanks Hospice of Chattanooga for the dedication to her  care during her illness.  Appreciation is expressed to her private sitters for their loving attention.
