Katherine Roberts

Mary Katherine Henshaw Roberts, 98, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 3, 2016.

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Roberts, Sr., and daughters, JoAnn Barker, and Shirley June and Wyatt Earp, grandson, Gary Roberts and granddaughter, Lucretia Ann Roberts, brothers, R.C., LaFollett, Henry and Stanley Henshaw; sister, Edith Barton.

Katherine was a member of the South Pittsburg Holly Avenue Methodist Church. She was retired from the South Pittsburg Knitting Mills. Her passions in life were cooking for her family and friends.

Katherine is survived by her son, Lawrence Roberts, Jr., granddaughters, Kathy (Gordon) Denmark, Karen (Mark) Peterson and Molly (Joe) Johnston; granddaughter-in-law, Kathrine Roberts, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Services will be held at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg on Monday, June 6th at 3pm.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 6th from 1-3pm at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
