Mary Ruth Bible Norman, 96, of the Battle Creek community near South Pittsburg, TN, died in a local nursing home Saturday morning.
The daughter of the late George Brice and Nora McAdams Bible, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas O. Norman.
She was a member of Lou's Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Norman is survived by three sons, Bill (Lois) Norman, Bryce (Claudette) Norman, both of South Pittsburg, and Thomas (Pauline) Norman of Angier, NC; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 1, 2011 with Rev. Joe Moore officiating. Interment will be in Tate Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the funeral home.
