Mary Katherine Springer Case, 81, of South Pittsburg, TN died Tuesday, December 22, 2009 in a Chattanooga hospital.
Daughter of the late Homer Lee and Ethel Lewis Springer, she was an 18 year employee of the US Postal Service and a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Richard City. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary W. Case.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Jerry W. Case; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth & Connie Case of South Pittsburg; three grandchildren, Brian Case of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA, Tyler Case of South Pittsburg and Erin Case of Murfreesboro, TN; one great-grandson, Tristan William Case.
Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at 10 AM CST with Reverend Johnny Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 23rd from 6-8 PM CST at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
