Mary Katherine Stubblefield Thomas, 87, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, died Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

The daughter of the late Harvey and Etta Steele Stubblefield, she was a longtime member of the Church of the Nazarene. She was also preceded in death by her children, Johnny Thomas, Ernest Thomas, Barbara Layne, Karen Thomas Jones, and David Lamar Thomas; brothers, Harvey, William, Walter, Paul David, James Oscar, Tommy, and Johnny Stubblefield; and sisters, Sula Rollins, Annie Hurst, Ruby Turner, and Betty Jones.

She is survived by her children, Myra Gail Havner, Ronald Thomas, Vickie Gibson, Donna Alexander, and Floyd Dewayne Thomas; sister, Jennie Akin; 28 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. Central time at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Case officiating. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, May 17th from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Central time at the funeral home.
