Maxine West Bitler, 80, died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at her home in Jasper, TN.

The daughter of the late Lawrence and Bessie Mae Baird West, she was a resident of Michigan until 1982 when she and her husband, Dale Bitler, who preceded her in death on May 4, 2008, moved to Jasper.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Roger Dale Bitler and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Ann St. Germaine of Hephzibah, Georgia, Debra Pollock of Lake Orion, Michigan and Mary Riley of Jasper; son, Thomas Bradford Bitler of Holly, Michigan; sister, Mary (Jim) Owens of Darrien, Georgia; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Mausoleum at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, June 15th at 10am CST. Entombment will immediately follow.

There will be no visitation for Mrs. Bitler.
